$1 concessions Wednesday at the Mobile BayBears game

If your favorite day of the week is Friday, think again. The BayBears have great deals to match their tremendous play on the diamond.

Wednesday night is the first ever "One Buck Wednesday." The Hank will offer $1 concessions throughout the game, including hot dogs, popcorn, hot pretzels, and sodas. It's been a very popular promotion across minor league baseball, so The Hank decided to give it a shot.

The BayBears take on the Chattanooga Lookouts May 4 at 6:35 p.m. Gates open at 6 p.m.

Then on Thursday, the team will play the Chattanooga Lookouts for a second round beginning at 6:35 p.m. Gates open at 6 p.m. Thursday is known as "Thirsty Thursday." The Hank will offer discounted adult beverages and sodas beginning when the gates open, and wrapping up in the middle of the seventh inning. It's also College Night. Visitors can buy one ticket and get one free with a college ID.

Friday night the BayBears and Chattanooga Lookouts will face off. Game time is 7 p.m.; gates open at 6. This is Wind Creek Friday Night at The Hank. There will be a fireworks show following the game. Afterwards, kids are allowed to run the bases.

Saturday at 7:05 p.m., the BayBears and Chattanooga Lookouts will play again. Gates open at 6 p.m. The AutoNation RAM Truck Showtime is Friday, as well as the Paint the Park Night for breast cancer awareness. The first 500 fans will receive a free pink BayBears 20th logo tshirt. Saturday night, kids can also run the bases after the game.

Sunday afternoon the BayBears and Chattanooga Lookouts will hit the diamond. Gates open at 1 p.m. It's Sunday Fun Day, presented by Dick's Sporting Goods. Kids can play catch on the field before the game and run the bases after the game. Animal owners, you're allowed to bring your dogs to the game. There will be a special doggie parade during the game.

The BayBears will play 19 games at home during the month of May. They begin with a five-game homestand against the Chattanooga Lookouts on May 4 - 8 and then play 13 games in 13 days at The Hank beginning on Saturday, May 14, ending with a doubleheader against the Biloxi Shuckers on May 26. They end the month with a five-game homestand against the Pensacola Blue Wahoos beginning on May 31.
