Game times, TV set for 2017-18 Auburn women’s basketball

AUBURN, Ala. – Eight of Auburn’s women’s basketball games this season will air on national television, according to the 2017-18 TV schedule released by the Southeastern Conference Wednesday.

Auburn opens SEC play on ESPN2 with a home contest against the Florida Gators at 3 p.m. CT on Sunday, Dec. 31. It will be the Tigers’ first regular-season appearance on ESPN2 since the 2013 season; Auburn’s NCAA Tournament games the last two seasons also aired on the network.

Four other home games will air on SEC Network – Sunday, Jan. 14 vs. Arkansas (4 p.m. CT), Sunday, Jan. 28 vs. Alabama (4 p.m. CT), Thursday, Feb. 8 vs. LSU (6 p.m. CT) and Sunday, Feb. 25 vs. Ole Miss (1 p.m. CT).

Three Auburn road games are slated for an SEC Network broadcast – Sunday, Jan. 21 at Georgia (2 p.m. CT); Sunday, Feb. 4 at Texas A&M (3 p.m. CT) and Sunday, Feb. 18 at Alabama (4 p.m. CT).

All of Auburn’s remaining SEC games and home non-conference games will be broadcast online on SEC Network +, which is available via WatchESPN, the ESPN app for mobile devices, and SECSports.com.

One other game has been announced for online streaming. The Tigers’ game at Indiana on Sunday, Dec. 3, can be seen online via Big Ten Network Plus at 1 p.m. CT.

Home games not selected for TV will begin at 6 p.m. CT on weeknights and 2 p.m. CT on weekends. One exception is the Sunday, Nov. 19, game against Louisiana Tech, which will be a 6 p.m. start due to Auburn’s volleyball match vs. Mississippi State at 1:30.

The Tigers are coming off back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances for the first time since the 2008 and 2009 seasons. Three starters and nine total letter-winners return from Auburn’s 2017 team as head coach Terri Williams-Flournoy begins her sixth season on the Auburn sideline.

Season tickets are on sale now with general admission available for as low as $25. For additional information or to place an order, call 855-282-2010 or visit AUBTix.com.
