Reality Check: Handicap accessibility, improving the streets of Mobile for everyone
MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) —
The city of Mobile is pending more than $1 million to upgrade sidewalks and curbs, making them more user friendly for those who can’t walk on their own, especially when it comes to those important handicapped parking spaces.
But Local 15’s Darwin Singleton has discovered some of those spaces have issues that can actually discourage people with disabilities from using them!
