A West Mobile home is covered with bullet holes after a witness says several young men with guns opened fire.

The witness said it was over a money dispute.

Apparently, one of the shooters used to work for the man who had to dodge those bullets.

With so many shots fired, it's a miracle no one was hurt.

It was around 11:30 a.m. when Mobile Police officers quickly filled the street on Wicker Way off University Boulevard.

The house, which was undergoing a remodel, is now riddled with bullet holes.

One of the workers who was painting the house, tells Local 15 News that a truck pulled up and five young men jumped out. Four of them, he said, were carrying long rifles and pistols.

He said they were after $400 they believed they were owed, and started asking for another worker inside.

The witness said the men then lined up in front of the house and opened fire.

After they took off, the worker outside went after them.

A man named Charles, who lives down the street, watched this part unfold.

"I was sitting in my driveway. I saw the truck pull off. Then I saw one of the contractors at the house on his cell phone and he ran to his truck and speeds out the driveway," said Charles.

One of the workers went on to tell us off camera that he called 911 and chased the suspects in his own truck all the way to Knollwood apartments, where the men ditched their vehicle and pointed a gun at him before running away.

"It's crazy! It's crazy, for over less than a thousand bucks," said Charles, who didn't want to give his last name.

Just to be clear no one was living in the home because it was being renovated, but the homeowners were very upset.

Police said no arrests have been made.
