Sheriff: Land dispute may have led to fatal shooting

A 73-year-old Alabama man has been charged in a fatal shooting that authorities say may have stemmed from a land dispute.
The Montgomery Advertiser reports Joseph Huffman was charged with murder in the death of 59-year-old John Brown on Saturday.
Autauga County Sheriff Joe Sedinger says deputies were called to the 400 block of County Road 82, the same block where Huffman lives. Brown lived on the 300 block of County Road 82. Sedinger says an apparent argument over a land dispute may have led to the shooting.
Huffman is being held in the Autauga Metro Jail on bonds totaling $30,000. It's unclear if he has a lawyer.
