Robber caught in Atlanta is back in Mobile
MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) —
New this morning, Lionel Gray has been extradited back to Mobile from Atlanta.
Gray is now facing attempted murder and robbery charges.
According to the Mobile County Jail Log, he was booked early this morning.
The alleged serial robber was described as "armed and dangerous" by local law enforcement.
33-year-old Lionel Deon Gray was taken into custody in Atlanta after police say Gray was on the run after committing a string of armed robberies in Mobile County.
During one robbery at a gas station in Chickasaw, a store clerk says the man identified as Gray accidentally left his keys on the stores counter and was forced to steal another car from a nearby house.
He's also accused of firing a shot that wounded a woman during a robbery in Mobile.
