Possible murderer out on bond
MOBILE, Ala. (WPMI) —
Self-defense? Or no reason to kill?
A Mobile man charged with shooting and killing his sister's boyfriend bonds out of jail.
28-year-old Theodore Roberts was released from jail Monday on a $75,000 bond.
Police say this past Friday, he murdered 24-year-old James Gipson inside a home on Carleton Avenue.
However. Roberts claims self-defense arguing he pulled the trigger to protect his sister, who, according to the defense, suffered injuries before he arrived.
Roberts has a long criminal history, including domestic violence.
