UPDATE: Missing teen in Mobile Bay found safe

(IMG:MGN) Coast Guard searches for missing teen, Parker Morgan, in Mobile Bay.

Update 8:33 AM: The 17-year-old male who was reported missing near Mobile Bay, Alabama, was located safely by the Coast Guard, Wednesday.

A Coast Guard Station Dauphin Island 29-foot Response Boat-Small crew recovered the missing person, Parker Morgan, at 6:27 a.m. after a Good Samaritan located him on Little Sand Island, Mobile, Alabama.

The boat crew towed the personal watercraft to a boat ramp.

Morgan was reported in good health.

Coast Guard Sector Mobile watchstanders received a notification of a distress call via cell phone at 8:54 p.m. Tuesday explaining that Morgan was on a 2017 red and blue personal watercraft that had run aground and become disabled south of the I-10 bridge, two nautical miles from shore in Mobile Bay. Morgan was reported to be wearing his life jacket.

Update 6:50 AM: Missing teen, Parker Morgan, has been found and is said not to require medical attention by authorities.

The Coast Guard is searching for a 17-year-old male reported in the northeastern portion of Mobile Bay, Alabama, Wednesday.

Missing is Parker Morgan.

Coast Guard Sector Mobile watchstanders received a notification of a distress call via cell phone at 8:54 p.m. Tuesday explaining that Morgan was on a 2017 red and blue jet ski that had run aground and become disabled south of the I-10 bridge, two nautical miles from shore in Mobile Bay.

Morgan was reported to be wearing his life jacket.
