It's time to cruise the coast!
The United Cerebral Palsy of Mobile hosts the Christmas nights of lights 5K and fun run. The fun run starts tonight. Runners and families can run or walk through the incredibly popular Christmas nights of lights display at Hank Aaron Stadium. It begins at 6 P.M.
Mobile honors area Veterans with a day filled with tributes, remembrance and celebrations. First up Friday is the traditional flag raising ceremony at the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park at 6 A.M. The Veterans day parade starts at 10 A.M.
The American Youth for freedom celebration is at the Aircraft Pavilion beginning at 3 P.M. The day ends with a Patriotic concert with the Mobile Pops at 7.
The Blues are back! The 2016 NAS Pensacola Blue Angels homecoming air show is celebrating Veterans day weekend. It is also the Blue’s 70th anniversary. Enjoy high flying performances Friday and Saturday. Gates open both days at 8 A.M. Watch the spectacular Friday night air show, complete with night time aircraft maneuvers capped off by a fireworks display.
The Silkies Ruck for the fall is in Orange Beach this Saturday. Veterans trekking through Southern Baldwin County are hoping to raise awareness about suicide prevention and post-traumatic stress awareness. They will only be in silkies and rucks.
Visit Bellingrath Gardens and view the 53rd annual Cascading Mum display. It has the nation’s largest outdoor display of Chrysanthemums.
The 32nd annual Frank Brown International songwriter’s festival continues at the Flora Bama. Learn the stories behind the songs in this up close and personal concert experience. Venues of all kinds will welcome nearly 200 songwriters from across the country.
Head on over to Mississippi and get ready to dance! Josh Turner takes the stage and belts out his country magic at the IP Casino Resort and Spa Friday at 8 P.M. Also, Pam TILLIS AND Lorrie Morgan will play Saturday at the Golden Nugget at 8 P.M.
